Terms of Service

By creating an account on getBriefed, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CEDAR Innovation Decoration Design LLC ("getBriefed", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

getBriefed is a professional matching platform connecting architecture and design studios ("Studios") with independent talent ("Talent"). The platform enables Studios to post project briefs and receive algorithmically matched talent profiles, and enables Talent to be discovered and contacted for relevant opportunities.

getBriefed acts solely as an intermediary. We are not a party to any employment, freelance, or service contract concluded between a Studio and a Talent through the platform. We do not guarantee that any match will result in a successful engagement.

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use getBriefed. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Studios must represent a legitimate professional entity (agency, studio, or company) operating in the architecture, interior design, or related design fields. Talent must be professionals offering services in these fields.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile up to date. Misrepresentation of your identity, qualifications, or professional background is grounds for immediate account termination.

getBriefed uses a proprietary algorithm to match Studio briefs with Talent profiles. Match scores are indicative and do not constitute a guarantee of suitability or availability.

Contact details between Studios and Talent are only revealed after a double opt-in: a Studio must select a Talent profile, and the Talent must accept the connection request. Neither party's contact information is shared without mutual consent.

Talent have a 48-hour window to respond to connection requests. After this period, the request expires automatically.

getBriefed offers the following paid plans for Studios:

Brief Packs: one-time purchases of brief credits, valid for 4 months from the date of purchase. Available in Starter (1 brief, $29), Growth (3 briefs, $75), Studio (5 briefs, $115), and Agency (10 briefs, $220) tiers.

Pro Subscription: a monthly subscription granting unlimited brief posts, full talent database access, advanced search and filters, and priority matching. The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. getBriefed does not store your payment card details. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Prices are displayed in USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.

Subscriptions: you may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Billing section of your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing cycle.

Brief Packs: pack credits are non-refundable once purchased. Unused credits expire 4 months after the date of purchase.

Exceptions: in the event of a technical error on our part that prevents you from using purchased credits or subscription features, please contact [email protected] within 14 days. We will review each case individually and issue a refund or credit at our discretion.

You retain ownership of all content you submit to getBriefed, including profile information, portfolio projects, and brief descriptions. By submitting content, you grant getBriefed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit. You agree not to submit content that is false, misleading, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful.

You agree not to:

Use the platform to solicit or conduct business outside of getBriefed in order to circumvent our fee structure; create multiple accounts or impersonate another person or entity; scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform by automated means; transmit spam, malware, or any harmful code; use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

getBriefed reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at its sole discretion, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any conduct that we determine to be harmful to the platform or its users.

The getBriefed platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any user-generated content.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CEDAR Innovation Decoration Design LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of getBriefed shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
